This is the personal website of me, Joerg Gerlach. I use it to showcase my personal works like 3D-pictures, animations, videos and tutorials. From time to time I also add some interesting hints and tricks for the NAS devices MacPower Taurus LAN, Raidsonic ICYBOX IB-4220b and similar. This website currently is available using www.themaxer.com, www.themaxer.de and www.radioactive3d.de.
My name is Joerg Gerlach, I live in Germany and I´m working with Autodesk 3ds max.
It depends. I´m always looking for new challenges, so if you have any job offers please feel free to contact me. Please keep in mind though that I´m not interested in any game mods or other fun stuff for free. I´m trying to get richer than anyone can imagine so making-money is a must.
No, I´m sorry. I don´t have any and I do not plan to produce any in the foreseeable future. If I ever decide to do so you will see them here on this website.
Sure you can. I do not sell them via turbosquid.com or similar web-portals though. If you are interested in buying anything just contact me. I´m sure we find the right price for you.
No. They are for personal use only. If you want to use them in any commercial way you must contact me before you do so. Again: I´m sure we find the right price for you.
Sure you can contact me. I´m very picky about politeness though. I react allergic to "leet" language, I´m no "dude", I´m not "the man" and I know that "I rock". Please also keep in mind that I´m using Autodesk 3ds max, Cebas finalRender (for 3ds max) and FumeFX, so those are the only applications I can help you with. I´m not giving lessons though. The only exception is if you´re paying for it.

FAQ
I really enjoy your website, it is of great help in learning FumeFX. I've got
around the basics, but still learning when it comes to rendering in a full
scene. I have a quick question on that subject, have you ever rendered fire in
an HDRI-lit scene? I have and the fire and smoke is quite overexposed for some
reason.
By the way, if you would like to change that Joomla! icon in the address bar,
just let me know, I'll give you a link
Thanks
Philippe
